My name is Myriam Roure. I have been practicing as a hypnotherapist since 2004, as a cognitive and behavioural therapist since 2006, as a marriage-guidance counsellor and couples therapist since 2008, and as a family therapist since 2009. I’m passionate about my job. Indeed, as well as working directly with my own patients, I created the Coachplanet Training Institute in 2008 where together with my partner, I train other therapists to use hypnosis, cognitive and behavioural therapy, as well as couples and family therapy.
My approach is a humanist and methodical one; the focus is on solutions and not on problems. The therapies I propose usually last about 3 months. Sessions take place once a week, then once a fortnight. The aim is that with every session tangible progress is made.
I am the author of the book Lâcher prise pour évoluer : l’hypnose Ericksonienne au service de votre inconscient (“Letting go” with Ericksonian hypnosis”), as well as articles on various subjects such as relationships, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic programming), Ericksonian hypnosis, communication, how to protect yourself from manipulators, phobias, sensitivity, emotions, gifted people, burn-out and teenagers. I have also made videos about hypnosis and NLP, as well as pod-casts on how hypnotherapy can help in everyday life – giving up smoking, weight loss, self-confidence, self-esteem, sexuality, overcoming depression, assertiveness, anxiety, and perfectionism.
I work directly with patients – whether individuals, couples or families – either at my practice in Levallois (Paris) or via Skype. In either case, my approach is the same: I support and guide my clients with sensitivity and expertise.
