SENSITIVE MASSAGE

Sensitive massage therapy focuses on the entire being (head/body/heart) and is part of a range of holistic techniques offered by Myriam Roure, founder of CoachPlanet.

Sensitive massage therapy involves many parts of the body, from the most inner parts, such as the bones and organs, to the most outer parts, like the skin. This technique promotes the exchange of information and energy across different levels, from the most subtle to the most concrete. It helps to regulate different levels of circulation within the body (blood stream, lymphatic system, nerve tracts).

METHOD

Intuitive massage therapy does not follow a set technique; it leaves a lot of room for creativity. It is based on respect and freedom of the individual. During intuitive massage therapy, both the patient and the somatherapist listen to, welcome and respect all information that is transmitted via the feedback from the massage’s “pressure”.

Sensitive massage therapy, which is applied along with Ericksonian Hypnosis, allows the somatherapist to help the patient come to terms with and assimilate unconscious events from the past and that generate tension, blockages or conditioned, disabling or unpleasant habits.

Intuitive massage therapy allows the patient to become deeply conscious of the link between the body and the mind, and helps to open our outer shells. Our body is aware and retains a lot of information that our mind forgets. The technical term used by somatherapists to describe this occurrence is anchoring.

This information is key for the therapist, who knows how to read this information in order to guide the patient in constructing or reinforcing the patient’s self-esteem and in meeting his or her objectives, for example, to lose weight, manage stress, recuperate vitality or tone, assess events from a distance, overcome grief (a very necessary element for personal development), etc.
