MEDIATION
Mediation is an activity through which a person or third party who is neutral in a conflict, helps two or more parties to understand the positions of the other(s) and their needs, opinions and representations.
A mediator could be very helpful in sorting out problems between a couple when the couple is going through a crisis, or when they are questioning their relationship. A mediator could also be helpful with problems between parents and their children.
The aim of mediation is to reach an agreement or an explanation, with concrete results that are beneficial for all parties.
Within a company or with individuals, my role using mediation is to intervene in the discussion between people or between groups to avoid conflict and find solutions that work for everyone with the participation of all parties involved.
