Manage your stress

Because stress results from interaction between an individual and his or her surroundings, we know today that stress is unique to each of us. Factors such as, heredity, education, socio-cultural milieu, life experiences and, above all, personality, all play a role. The people at risk are those who are hyperactive, impulsive, always hurried, impatient, ambitious, aggressive and people who are always trying to get ahead, to gain something. As a result, these people often suffer from heart-related illnesses, stomach ulcers, arterial hypertension and cerebral hemorrhage.

In order to be able to control stress, one has to confront it, by identifying both the stress factors themselves and our own reactions to these stresses. Controlling stress means limiting it to good stress, i.e. keeping it at a level that optimizes performance and creativity.

Working on yourself

- Identify and verbalize emotions and limits
- Find the balance between frustrations and expectations
- Know when to say no so that you know better when to say yes
- Know your needs and your priorities

Letting go of

- Unconscious and limiting thoughts
- Automatic reflexes and inner thoughts that are tied to negative experiences from the past
- Poor communication by improving communication and efficiency
- Anxiety-inducing factors. One must not forget that balancing our emotions and anxiety could, in time, be the ticket to keeping a business going, because very often a healthy business goes hand-in-hand with emotionally and physically fit businessmen and women.

Stability

- Personal fitness (physical activity, following biological rhythms, healthy food, regular sleep and breaks, etc.)
- Mental fitness (relaxation, massages and not obsessing over negative thoughts that waste time and energy)
- These last points are fundamental to reducing stress
- Build your self-esteem
